SOLD - New/unworn 2019 Rolex GMT-Master II "Batman" Oyster - FULL STICKERS
This watch is now sold but we can source more, so please give us a call if you would like to discuss our price to supply this watch to you.
First launched in 1955 and originally designed for professional use by airline pilots, the GMT-Master became a huge hit with travellers. Showing two time zones simultaneously was of great benefit to those travelling across continents and time zones. GMT, of course, stands for Greenwich Mean Time, which marks solar time at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London - the original meridian used for calculating longitude and determining different time zones around the world. The ceramic bezel on the GMT-Master II is quite a work of art - the two colours combination is on a single piece ceramic component, which was a world first for Rolex. And did you know it takes 40 hours to produce each two-colour Cerachrom (that's Rolex-speak for ceramic) bezel!
Geoff's comment: Rolex GMT-Master II "Pepsi", "Batman" and "Root Beer" are just impossible to get from an authorised dealer. I have been trying for years. All three watches are just so highly desirable. The 116710BLNR Batman was discontinued in 2019 as it is no longer available on the Oyster bracelet. For me, the Batman just suits the Oyster better than the Jubilee. Grab yourself a new/unworn 116710BLNR while you still can. This is a very special piece as it comes FULLY STICKERED.
