Oris has been making watches in Switzerland since 1904 and is still an independent company (which is more of a rarity these days). The Oris Carlos Coste Limited Edition is a true example of their craft and design ethos and pays tribute to the world freediving champion and multiple world record holder Carlos Coste. The Oris Carlos Coste Limited Edition diver is a big watch but doesn't particularly wear as such. Much of that is down to the titanium construction which makes it considerably lighter than you might expect, given the 47mm case dimension and tall stance.
Geoff's comment: These rugged tool diver's watches are extremely rare, with this model being limited to 2,000 pieces. I remember when this watch launched. In no time you just couldn't get one but I was determined and tracked one down that had been purchased but never worn. That was back in 2011 and it's been in my personal collection ever since and only had occasional wear. If you want a very bold and beautifully designed diver's watch, with little to no chance of ever bumping into someone wearing the same, then this Oris is for you. It represents incredible value for a luxury Swiss watch dive rated to 1000m (3280 feet).
